Miriam Golden teaches comparative politics at UCLA, specializing in the political economy of advanced democratic nations.
She has conducted extensive research on comparative labor politics and industrial relations, a topic on which she is
the author or co-editor of four books. More recently, she has been working on issues involving democratic accountability,
political corruption, and globalization, as well as distributive politics and public goods in various countries.
Currently Miriam Golden serves as Chair of the American Political Science Association's Organized Section in Political
Economy.
